Glenavon School

Having recently leased 32 new PCs, Glenavon school already had the necessary computing power to roll out a total of 128 workstations. The school still only has to maintain 32 PCs, but has the use of 128. Power useage was also only increased by about 40 percent instead of 300 percent! *Based on 200w PC, 25w monitors, and 5w Xtenda terminal. All kinds of applications are used on the system, from Braintastic's multimedia applications, to Microsoft Office, to web-based games and educational tools.

Atholl Wilkinson had a budget for six new PCs but was able to deploy 18 workstations instead by using the Xtenda product as part of the solution. The workstations are being used by art students utilising Corel Draw and Photoshop among other applications.
